On behalf of one of our clients, we are currently searching for an experienced Accounting manager.
You will be responsible for leading a team of over 20 finance staff within the SSC and for managing a wide scope of accounting activities.

Your Responsibilities:
Supervise the accounting team within the SSC by ensuring that 25 members are effectively managed, motivated, and mentored.
Oversee the collaboration with third-party statutory accountants to align with the company’s accounting standards.
Ensure the month-end closing process, including reconciliations and journal entries, is conducted with precision for accurate financial reporting across the company’s legal entities and business units.
Prepare financial reports for management review, facilitate audit processes for both internal and external auditors, and compile necessary government reports.
Contribute to strategic transformation projects within the EMEA region, aiming for operational excellence.
Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving business processes.
Maintain communication with various stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently and maintain operational continuity.
Administer staff recruitment, training, development, and performance assessments to uphold high standards of professional excellence.
Fulfil additional responsibilities as required by the management of the company.
Requirements:
Certified accountant (ACCA, Chartered Accountant, or an equivalent credential) boasting over a decade of significant experience.
Profound understanding and knowledge of US GAAP, statutory and technical accounting, accounting principles, and internal controls.
Proficiency in SAP is essential.
Skilled in managing personnel.
Background in the consumer goods or manufacturing sector.
Competent in effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders within a matrix organization.
Skilled in forging robust connections with a variety of staff members across an international corporation.
Capable of autonomous work.
Skilled in investigating complex issues and devising strategic solutions.
Outstanding organizational abilities, with a knack for prioritizing tasks and a focus on achieving results.
Adaptable and proactive, and experienced within an evolving corporate landscape.
