On behalf of an American group owning iconic brands of consumer products, we are currently looking for a an intercompany accountant to join their business administrative hub based in Prague. If you speak English, and if you have AP and AR or intercompany accounting experience, then surely keep reading. Your main role will be to timely book intercompany receivable and payable transactions, payment of invoices, intercompany profit and reporting on other intercompany and elimination accounts.

Role Responsibilities:
- Create intercompany invoices
- Month-End Support: Assist with reconciliations during month-end closing.
- Financial Controls: Check sub-ledger and general ledger systems periodically.
- Balance Maintenance: Keep intercompany balances at zero and explain discrepancies.
- Compliance and Audit: Follow USGAAP and company policies, assist with audits.
- Participate in projects and support company initiatives.
- Handle changes and manage priorities effectively.
- Improve Processes: Identify weak points and suggest improvements
- Use knowledge and experience to communicate within the organization.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in AP/AR/Intercompany/R2R or ideally both
- Knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SAP
- Accuracy, attention to details and good communication skills
- Fluent in English
