The International Common Data Model is a 3NF data model developed centrally by our data team and implemented within each business unit. It forms an integral part of our data lakehouse architecture, championed by Databricks. Beyond being a mere data model, it encompasses processes, services, APIs, dictionaries, tools, and documentation—all designed to unlock the value of data within our organization
What you will do
- Define the vision and roadmap of Common data model and dictionary together with business owner and other stakeholders
- Manage and refine backlog, create common planning together with client business units and central team
- Ensure the quality and effectiveness of implementation in client business units
- Communicate and coordinate with development teams and stakeholders
- Understand the needs and expectations of stakeholders and prioritize based on the business value
Requirements
- Experience as product owner, project manager or in a similar role, ideally in international environment
- A solid understanding of modern data stack, incl. sources, data pipelines, DWH and data lakes, data platforms and tools
- Experience in using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps or similar
- Positive, communicative and well-organized person with attention to details and proactive problem solver
- Good at networking and maintaining long-term relationships
- Desire to learn new things, out-of-box thinking and customer-centric mindset
- Awareness of insurance or finance domain is a plus
- English proficiency
