As a Data Science Support Product Owner, your role involves delivering a platform for data scientists and operationalizing data science use cases. The Data Science support team’s primary responsibility is to provide data scientists with relevant data and tools, enabling them to work their ‘magic.’ This includes designing and developing cutting-edge cloud solutions, as well as dedicating time to security, compliance, and automation.
What you will do
- Define the vision and roadmap for data science platform and use cases together with stakeholders
- Manage and refine backlog, creates common planning together with client business units and central team
- Ensure the quality and effectiveness of implementation in client business units
- Communicate and coordinate with development team(s) and stakeholders
- Understand the needs and expectations of stakeholders and prioritize based on the business value
Requirements
- Experience as product owner, project manager or in a similar role, ideally in international environment
- A solid understanding of modern data stack, incl. sources, data pipelines, DWH and data lakes, data platforms and tools
- Experience in using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps or similar
- Positive, communicative and well-organized person with attention to details and proactive problem solver
- Good at networking and maintaining long-term relationships
- Desire to learn new things, out-of-box thinking and customer-centric mindset
- English proficiency
