We are seeking a Mid/Senior Python Backend Developer to join our client’s dynamic team. You will play a key role in building and maintaining internal tools that ensure the delivery of high-quality sports data. Your work will directly support operational excellence and innovation in the field of sports analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and data engineers to deliver robust internal tools.
- Work with microservices architecture to support multi-sport data applications.
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability of backend systems.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in backend development with Python.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Familiarity with microservices and containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Bonus: Experience with JavaScript; exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
