As a Senior GL Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Managing day-to-day financial accounting processes for EMEA entities
- Actively participating in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing
- Reviewing Balance Sheet and P&L accounts to identify trends or discrepancies
- Assisting with account reconciliations in Blackline and ensuring compliance with company policies
- Providing advice to stakeholders based on expertise
- Supporting SAP conversion projects and integration initiatives
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely accounting results
- Coordinating and monitoring internal and external audit requests
You should match these criteria:
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification (US GAAP knowledge required)
- Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience in an international or multi-subsidiary environment
- Inventory accounting experience is a great advantage
- Knowledge of SAP is a must
- Strong organizational skills, proactive and results-oriented
- Excellent English communication skills (additional European language is an advantage)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
