About the role
We are building a data‑driven platform designed to help our global vendor network sell more effectively. As a Product Owner, you will own the direction of this platform and ensure that data initiatives are always tied to clear commercial outcomes.
Your role is to translate business goals — particularly sales growth, partner performance, and market insights — into a clear product roadmap that data engineers and analytics teams can execute against. You will act as the main decision‑maker for priorities, making sure effort is focused on what delivers the most value.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Owning the product vision and roadmap for a data platform supporting global vendors and sales teams
- Working closely with sales, commercial, and regional stakeholders to understand needs and turn them into clear product priorities
- Defining and maintaining a prioritised backlog, ensuring the team focuses on work that drives measurable business impact
- Translating business questions (performance, conversion, pricing, availability, incentives) into data and analytics use cases
- Partnering with data engineers, analysts, and architects to shape feasible, scalable solutions — without dictating how they build them
- Defining success criteria and KPIs for data products, and tracking whether delivered solutions actually improve sales outcomes
- Acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, clearly communicating progress, trade‑offs, and decisions
- Continuously re‑evaluating priorities based on results, feedback, and changing business conditions
What we’re looking for
- Experience working as a Product Owner or Product Manager on data‑driven or platform products
- Strong business mindset with the ability to connect data initiatives to revenue, growth, or commercial performance
- Experience working in agile environments, including backlog ownership and sprint planning
- Sufficient technical and data literacy to work effectively with engineers and analytics teams (e.g. understanding data pipelines, BI, or analytics concepts)
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and making prioritisation decisions under pressure
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms
Nice to have
- Experience with analytics, BI, or data platforms
- Exposure to sales‑driven or partner‑driven business models
- Experience in global or multi‑market environments
- Background in automotive, retail, manufacturing, or complex B2B industries
