Job description

We are currently looking for a suitable candidate for an American AI technology startup that builds scalable infrastructure for AI, data, and modern web applications. If you enjoy automation, containers, and fine-tuning things to perfection, keep reading.

Type of cooperation: Full remote from the Czech Republic

It is necessary to be located in the Czech Republic and have valid work permit.

Your responsibilities in following fields:

Infrastructure as Code

Write and maintain Terraform modules for Azure infrastructure
Develop Ansible playbooks for server provisioning, application deployment, and configuration management.
Manage environment-specific configurations

Container & Application Deployment

Deploy and scale .NET 9 applications on Azure Container Apps with managed identities
Manage Azure Container Registry with geo-replication and image lifecycle policies.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployment.

Database & Storage Operations

Manage PostgreSQL 17 clusters - setup, replication, backups, and performance tuning.
Operate Apache Cassandra multi-DC clusters
Maintain RabbitMQ clusters for message queuing.

Reliability & Security

Implement multi-region geo-redundancy with automatic failover and health checks.
Configure Cloudflare for global traffic management, geo-steering, WAF, and DDoS protection.
Manage secrets with Azure Key Vault and implement proper rotation policies.
Build monitoring dashboards with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
Plan and test disaster recovery procedures; document RTO/RPO targets.
Optimize cloud costs and implement FinOps practices.
