Information Security Analyst – Data Protection
Help protect critical business data in a global enterprise environment
We are looking for an Information Security Analyst with a passion for Data Protection, Compliance and Microsoft Security technologies.
In this role, you will become a key member of the Cyber Security team, helping protect sensitive business information across a global organization. You will work closely with Security, IT, Legal and Business stakeholders to strengthen data security controls, investigate potential risks and continuously improve the organization's data protection capabilities.

What You Will Be Doing
- Monitor and investigate Data Protection alerts, incidents and policy violations
- Identify and assess potential risks related to the handling of sensitive information
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls
- Investigate data security events and recommend corrective actions
- Work closely with IT, Security, Legal and Compliance teams
- Support audits, compliance initiatives and regulatory requirements
- Help improve data classification, retention and protection processes
- Contribute to the development of security policies, standards and best practices
- Participate in security awareness and continuous improvement initiatives
Technology Environment
You will work primarily within the Microsoft security ecosystem, utilizing technologies such as Microsoft Purview, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, Microsoft 365 Security and compliance solutions. The role also provides exposure to broader data governance, risk management and regulatory compliance initiatives within a global enterprise environment.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience within Information Security, Data Protection, Compliance or Governance
- Understanding of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) principles and data security controls
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 security and compliance technologies
- Strong analytical and investigation skills
- Ability to assess and communicate security risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
Nice To Have
- Experience with Microsoft Purview
- Experience with Information Protection or Data Classification solutions
- Background in Security Operations, Risk Management or Compliance
- Understanding of GDPR and data privacy regulations
- Microsoft Security certifications
