Reed is looing for and experienced Supply Chain Director/Manager to lead operations across our key logistics hubs in Prague (PRG) and Bratislava (BTS).
📍 Location: Prague, Czech Republic
📦 Industry: Freight Forwarding | Ecommerce Logistics
✈️ Focus: Air Cargo and Warehousing
🔧 What You’ll Do:
- Lead daily operations across air cargo, customs, warehousing, and last-mile delivery
- Manage a team of 10–20 internal staff and 50+ subcontractors/temps
- Develop and implement SOPs to drive efficiency and compliance
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet service and cost goals
- Analyze data and market trends to support strategic decisions
- Occasionally travel to meet strategic leadership on a face-to-face basis.
- Ensure smooth, cost-effective logistics from China to Central Europe
✅ What You Bring:
- 🎓 Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Economics
- 📦 5+ years in logistics, air cargo, or ecommerce operations
- 🧠 Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- ✍️ Fluent English and ideally Czech language.
- ✅ Experience in senior operations roles, air cargo handling, warehousing, orother types of transports
