PCB Layout Designer – Remote role in CZ

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced PCB Layout Designer to join the hardware development team and take a leading role in PCB design for advanced energy measurement and control systems.
The role involves close collaboration with hardware engineers, covering the full lifecycle from schematic to mass production, and reports directly to the Hardware Group Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Design complex PCB layouts (2–10+ layers) using Cadence Allegro PCB Designer
- Work with schematics in OrCAD Capture and accurately implement them in layout
- Define and apply design rules according to electrical requirements, EMI/EMC, and Signal Integrity
- Route high-speed signals, as well as analog and digital signals and various communication interfaces
- Design for low and medium voltage circuits, including isolation and creepage requirements
- Collaborate with mechanical engineering teams to ensure enclosure compatibility
- Prepare full manufacturing documentation (Gerber, drill files, stack-up, pick & place) and support production
- Work with component libraries and databases, including priority component management
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in PCB layout design
- Full proficiency with Cadence Allegro PCB Designer
- Experience working with OrCAD Capture
- Proven experience in multilayer PCB design
- Good understanding of Signal Integrity and Power Integrity
- Experience with EMI/EMC standards – strong advantage
- Experience with mixed-signal designs (Analog + Digital) – advantage
- Experience working with PCB manufacturers and assembly houses
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
- Fluent in English and Czech is a nice to have
