Our client is a global leader in delivering complex supply chains solutions and we are building one the biggest automated warehouses in Europe.

This role is located near Karlovy Vary and it is necessary to be present on the customer premise.

Mission:

  • Configuring Warehouse Control System Software in the office and at Client sites
  • Collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineering to define system control requirements (concept reviews, system functionality, machine control design requirements).
  • Supporting deployment planning activities in conjunction with project management for implementation plan.
  • Performing testing, debugging, implementation and support during “go-live” at Client site.
  • Overseeing and directing project site support resources during deployment and commissioning activities.
  • Making modifications and troubleshooting industrial motor controls, I/O and pneumatic subsystems and variable speed drives.
  • Providing training for staff at Client site.
  • Providing WCS control enhancements/requirements to the Software team to increase productivity and accuracy.
  • Making recommendations and suggestions to improve and streamline the implementation process.

Desired Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience along-with Bachelor’s degree in in engineering, information technology, or related field
  • Excellent hands-on System integration experience between machines and Software
  • Hands-on End to end System integration Testing experience.
  • Mandatory Onsite Experience with Warehouse or Industrial automations.
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience
  • IoT experience with large scale industrial automation setups.
  • Experience in supply chain, distribution, warehouse management systems, and warehouse control systems technologies.
  • AutoStore experience is highly desired.
  • Professional experience in Material Handling Systems and/or Warehouse Control Systems (WCS)
  • Advanced knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and standards, including TCP/IP, FTP, and SOA
  • Advanced knowledge of database design and file management techniques
  • Advanced knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Linux, Microsoft Window
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
