Position Overview 

On behalf of a major automotive client, we are seeking an experienced Android Automotive / AOSP Developer to join an established infotainment development team. This role is suited for a senior Android engineer with a strong background in system-level Android development and handson experience in automotive infotainment environments. 

Due to project timelines, the successful candidate should be available to start within the next two weeks or at earliest time.  

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and integrate applications, services, and AOSP components for Android Automotive OS (AAOS).  

  • Design and implement UI/UX and HMI features for invehicle infotainment systems.  

  • Collaborate on the integration of features with the vehicle’s electronic systems using CAN and Ethernet communication.  

  • Participate in prototyping, demonstrations, PoC development, and invehicle testing.  

  • Contribute to agile development processes, including sprint planning and technical documentation.  

 

Candidate Profile 

  • Minimum 5 years of Android development experience, with at least 2 years in AAOS/AOSP system development.  

  • Strong command of Kotlin/Java and deep understanding of Android frameworks. 

  • Experience in developing HMI flows, infotainment UI, and embedded Android systems.  

  • Understanding of E/E architecture, vehicle ECUs, and communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet).  

  • Experience in automotive R&D or Tier1/Tier2 software development is advantageous. 

  • Ability to adapt quickly to ongoing project timelines and work effectively in crossfunctional teams. 

  • Fluent in either Czech or Slovak language and English
