We are currently looking for an experienced Accountant with potential to grow into a Finance manager in time.
Your main responsibilities as a Senior Accountant will be:
- Daily accounting tasks, including statutory P&L and Balance Sheet preparation (IFRS and local GAAP), monetary transactions, dunning, account reconciliations, and supervision.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements (IFRS and CZ GAAP).
- Reporting (month-end group P&L, annual, VAT, waste management).
- Ensure compliance with local legal finance requirements (liaise with fiscal authorities and auditors).
- Process liquidity reports and monitor working capital with Customer Service.
- Oversee debt collection with the legal department.
- Cost control (e.g., cell phone, rent invoices).
- Coordinate with peers, other departments, and the Austrian finance team.
- Serve as the contact for external tax consultants and subsidiary administration.
- Release credit and margin blocks for sales orders daily.
- Handle project work and administrative duties.
- Conduct weekly payment runs.
Requirements:
- Educational background in Finance/Accounting or relevant certification
- At least 5 years of working experience in Finance- and Accounting, preferably with an international background and team leading experience
- Regular attendance in the office required (2 days home office per week)
- Stress-resistant and strong personality
- Role model (cooperation with colleagues, company values etc.)
- Independent and well-structured working method, strong analytical skills
- Solution-orientated way of working
- High level of self motivation and personal responsibility
- Very good MS-Office, ERP (JDE knowledge would be an advantage)
- Fluent English and Czech language skills
