PL / SQL Developer - TIA

Job description

You as a member of TIA - ‘The Insurance Application’ - team will work in and with the TIA scrum team.

 

What will you do?

 

As a PL/SQL Developer, you will work in a TIA team on development of core insurance system of OHRA. You and the entire team are responsible for the process of analysis, development, testing and delivery of insurance product solution. Together with the team, you will have in impact on OHRA's back office to which customer facing portal is connected.

  • Analyzing requirements and based on their understanding propose technical solution and its delivery via coding or configuration of TIA (The Insurance Application).
  • Provide incidents analysis and resolution on day to day basis, if needed. Make sure the incidents are resolved within agreed SLA. Provide incident reporting and co-ordinate incident priorities
  • Execute complex problem and post-mortem analyses and identify possible problem management candidates. Participate in root cause analysis and their resolution
  • Participate on the development of new TIA functionality
  • Effectively use ServiceNow or other ticketing tool and lead the maintenance and support process improvement
  • Continuously increase technical knowledge of Oracle and Insurance/Finance
  • Help other colleagues to achieve their tasks where and when needed
  • Look beyond programming of a US, look for connections, coherence and big picture

 

How your profile should look like?

 

  • You are an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer with 2-5 years of experience, experienced with Oracle 19c version and preferably understanding of OOP
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL Developer, JIRA, GIT, Jenkins & Artifactory or similar tools is a MUST
  • Experience with API, Interfaces, JSON, REST, SOAP is a MUST
  • An experience with XSLT / XLM, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, SonarQube, Go Anywhere is an advantage
  • You are used to work in Agile / SCRUM team, team player and interested to learn new techniques
  • You have open and curious attitude, focused on continuous (self) development, you are daring to propose radical solutions
  • You have understanding of how test automation can improve SDLC and want to automate as much as possible
