Job Title: Junior PtP Accountant

Location: Prague 4, Czech Republic (hybrid working)

Salary: Competitive salary & benefits (25 days of annual leave, meal allowance, Multisport card or Flexi pass card after the probation period).

Start date: ASAP

Job type: Fixed term contract from 1/6/2024 till 31/10/2024 with a possibility of extension (full-time)

This position is suitable for Economy/ Finance or related fields students and graduates as well as people with junior level accounting or finance experience.

Junior PtP Accountant Responsibilities:

In the PtP Team, you will take care of your clients by ensuring smooth operations of following activities:

  • Process transactions (invoices, credit notes).
  • Match supplier invoices with purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
  • Post invoices into accounting system on a daily and timely basis while ensuring invoices are coded to the correct GL accounts and cost centers.
  • Prepare payments and perform month-end activities and reporting.
  • Analyze vendor accounts, solve negative balances.
  • Reconcile vendor statements.
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve account discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries.
  • Communicate with client, provide support and solutions.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and special tasks assigned by Team Leader.

PtP Accountant Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of English (no Czech needed!).
  • Some work background in accounting or finance would be a big plus but Economy/ Finance or related fields students/ graduates with no experience would be considered too.
  • F&A process understanding & accounting knowledge.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), experience with M3 is highly welcome.
  • Problem-solving skills, strong organizational and analytical skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Friendly personality with sense of responsibility and good focus on details.
