A successful firm with headquarters in the US is currently seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant who will work in their Czech centre in Prague (hybrid model). You will work alongside a Senior Accountant and the Head of Accounting and Finance team. You will be responsible for the US GAAP accounting and reporting of specific assigned operating companies and/or legal entities, compliance and implementation of internal control policies and procedures. General Ledger Accountant Responsibilities:
- Carry out a range of tasks within the Record-to-Report processes, adhering to US GAAP.
- Corporate guidelines, and the local statutory requirements of the assigned European countries.
- Comprehend the effects of each transaction on the balance sheet & income statement.
- Organize all required supporting documents for monthly accruals and prepayments.
General Ledger Accountant Requirements:
- 4+ of experience as an Accountant (GL at least 3 years)
- Advanced knowledge of English
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles and processes
- Familiarity with US GAAP and SOX
Salary: Competitive DOE
Location: Boudníkova 2538/11, Prague, Czech Republic (no relocation support provided)
