For our client, a European family business that has become famous for luxurious taste of its coffee, we are looking for Financial Controller.
We are looking for a motivated and proactive person for planning and controlling the company's finance operations.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Evaluation of financial performance – comparing and analysing results with plans and forecasts
- Identification of financial performance trends and financial risks
- Providing recommendations for improvement to the Managing Director and internal teams
- Month end closing process, including the preparation and control of all inputs of journal entries and the application of IFRS rules
- Participation in the preparation of annual operating plan and forecast cycles, by working together with the budget owners
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Respecting Internal Regulations, Accounting standards and company’s procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge of SAP
- 2+ years of business finance or other relevant experience
- Strategic thinking and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively
- Ability to analyse and interpret data and make recommendations
- Excellent reporting, presenting and communication skills
- Fluent written and oral English
