Job description:
On behalf of an American group owning iconic brands of consumer products, we are currently looking for a Credit risk specialist to join their business administrative hub based in Prague. If you speak English, and if you are interested in finance, then surely keep reading! Your main role will be to contribute in minimizing risk on debtors and bad debt reserves. You will perform various credit risk duties of your assigned customer accounts.

Role Responsibilities:
Evaluate credit information for new customers, considering financial reports, payment behavior, country risk, and turnover expectations.
Determine appropriate credit limits, risk categories, and payment terms for these customers.
Regularly review credit information for existing customers.
Adjust credit limits, risk categories, and payment terms as needed.
Ensure accurate setup of Credit and Collection fields in the system for new customer accounts.
Manage the credit hold order book.
Monitor and explain bad debt reserve levels.
Foster positive relationships with both external and internal customers, including sales, customer service, and collections teams.
Qualifications and experience required:
Minimum 1 year of experience in relevant credit risk areas (claims, collections, cash application or direct credit risk management);
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional language is welcome);
General Business Understanding, Ability to evaluate financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements, etc.);
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
Organized, problem-solving and consulting mindset, effective team player.
