We are currently looking for an experienced Finance Manager for our client.
Your main responsibilities as a Finance Manager will be:
- Prepare the statutory Profit and Loss (P&L) statement and Balance Sheet according to both International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local GAAP standards
- Handle monetary transactions and banking applications
- Reconcile accounts and supervise overall accounting processes
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements following IFRS and Czech GAAP
- Communicate with local fiscal authorities and auditors
- Monitor debt collection through legal channels in collaboration with the legal department
- Serve as the contact person for external tax consulting firms
- Execute weekly payment processes
- Manage the team for the country (directly and indirectly) – strategic personnel planning and assuring relevant trainings of employees
- Identify and analyse potential risks (legal / compliance)
As a Finance Manager you should match following:
- University degree, ideally in finance and accountancy
- Min. 5-10 years of working experience in finance and accountancy
- Team leading experience
- Strong analytical skills and strong role model personality
- MS Office literate, Excel proficiency
- Fluent Czech and English language skills
