REED is currently searching for highly motivated candidates with AP accounting experience to join our clients Accounts Payable team here in Prague. If you posses a year or more of experience, have B1 level Hungarian and want to continue your career in this field, then read further!
Your Role
As an AP Specialist you will provide support to our clients Global Business Services in Prague. This position includes the processing of invoices and payments and the handling of external and internal vendor communication.
Responsibilities
- Code and process invoices and match invoices to purchase orders
- Ensure all AP records follow applicable company and accounting policies
- Resolve all invoice / purchase order discrepancies
- Prepare payments to suppliers according to agreed schedule and maintain correspondence with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Review and approve travel expenses in accordance with legislation and internal policies
- Create/Maintain Vendor Master Data requests as per agreed process
- Participate in special projects by supporting management and the project team
- Engage in process improvement initiatives and actively participate in training programs
- Work a flexible schedule if required
Qualifications and skills
- Proven experience in finance or AP Accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or similar field is an advantage
- High level of both written and spoken English
- B1 level Hungarian (Primarily reading)
- Strong technology skills, with a working knowledge/understanding of business finance system platforms (e.g., Excel, SAP)
- Strong technology skills, including PC and Web-based applications with a working knowledge/understanding of business finance system platforms (e.g., Excel, SAP)
- Accuracy and excellent attention to details
- Ability to prioritise, be independent and work under pressure during peak periods
