Annual leave is 20 days (increasing with service to 25 days), plus 8 bank holidays
Salary dependant on experience circa £16k.
This role will require someone who has great time management, a methodical and thorough approach to their work. Good attention to detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
The Core responsibilities for the position are as follow;
- Process orders placed by phone, email and fax, calculate carriage costs and send sales order confirmations to customers.
- Keep customers / prospects CRM database and files up to date and tidy to ensure a full record of activities is available.
- Send out Catalogues to customers
- Send credit application forms to customers and liaise with finance in the set-up of new customer accounts.
- When required send proforma invoices and agree payment terms with customers, keeping finance advised of the payment status of orders.
- Issue customers with SOR forms/Quotations for repairs etc
- Provide support with after sales issues and managing credit note requests as and when received.
- Telesales – make calls to introduce company, obtain contact details and arrange sales visits.
- Liaise with production and dispatch to make sure that orders are dealt with efficiently.
- Make sure samples sent to prospects are purchased or returned and a clear audit trail is maintained to ensure products are not lost.
- Participate in daily routine of the office by answering the phone, taking messages, photocopying, franking post and covering for colleagues on leave.
- Provide general administration support to Sales Department as required.
- Maintain effective records as per requirements of ISO system.
