My client based in North Cardiff is looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their busy team. You will report to the current Accounts and Commercial Administration team.

Job Description:
The successful post holder will be assisting in the day to day commercial and accounts control along with the current team, Keeping the current measures and controls in place to allow the department to follow specific procedures.

Generating and issuing S/C payment reports
• S/C payment, collection, inputting and distribution
• Subcontractor’s on-hold spreadsheet.
• S/C order inputting and distribution.
• S/C order filing.
• Vendor Registration database, control, monitor and distribution.
• Monitoring of S/C insurance and updating COINs.
• Authenticated receipts for subcontractors.

Materials
• Goods received analysis and inputting.
• Interrogation of material invoices and reconciliation

General
• Cheque request – compiling and distributing.
• Monitoring of S/C insurance and updating COINs.
• General accountancy filing.
• Commercial holiday and sickness recording.
• Central filing - maintaining LIBMS and LIMS files up to date.
• Monitoring office and departmental post.
• Utility bills – allocation and sign off.
• Contract records and Contract box filing,
• Site and project archiving.
• Contract register.

Cash Control
• Update and monitoring of the payment tracker, banking allocation.
• Retention control – chasing and allocating.

Insurance Control
• Professional Indemnity insurance monitoring and control.
• Reporting insurance claims and report.
• Processing of insurance claim.


Person Specification:
Do I have the relevant experience?

If you have strong IT skills (specifically COINs and Excel), a professional work ethic and willingness to learn then this is the perfect job for you! Previous Accounts Administration experience is required ideally from a manufacturing background.
