Assistant Property Manager

Job description

For our client - an international company with an extensive network of warehouse and industrial real estate properties across Europe - we are looking for a Property Manager Assistant responsible for support in the operational and technical management of an industrial buildings located in Czech Republic. Currently we are expanding the team, so do not hesitate to apply if you have experience in property management.

Main responsibilities:

  • Support of the property team with communication with tenants regarding property-related issues
  • Assist to property manager in managing all aspects of a building´s occupancy and maintenance
  • Coordinate with tenants and third parties to address maintenance and facility needs
  • Meet with prospective tenants to show properties, conduct interviews, receive rental applications, and explain terms of occupancy
  • Maintain records of rental activity
  • Organize the office agenda including the post, letters, and reports
  • Help to prepare budgets and financial reports
  • Check the incoming supplier invoices and forward to the property manager and the accounting team
  • Record details of supplier invoices per real estate in order to support the annual service charge reconciliation process and for the payments done from the HQ
  • Regular communication and reporting to the parent company financial department
  • Manage and keep document folders organized
  • Coordinate with outside vendors to arrange for maintenance, landscaping, security, and other services
  • Investigate and help to resolve complaints, disturbances, and violations
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed

Qualification/Skills:

  • University degree (business, construction is an advantage)
  • Previous experience in property management or real estate welcomed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented, conscientious, and highly organized
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good at MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Good knowledge of English (communication with HQ abroad)
