Job description

KAM is responsible for managing and driving direct key accounts following business strategy for the German market. Scope KAM is responsible to maintain and manage the key accounts (wholesale/retailers/e-tailers) in line with the overall European business strategy. He/she is the owner of the relationship with the key customers. He/she manages the account with full back-to-back responsibility.

Your agenda:

  • Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition
  • Acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  • Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Manage and drives the customer in line with given strategy
  • Preparation and execution of long-term listings and seasonal promotions
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
  • Responsible for daily communication with customers
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics
  • Training of key customers

 

Profile:

  • Proven experience as KAM
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
  • Advanced in English, fluent in German
  • Technology and features insight
